J-1 Intern Program

         Who It’s For:

  • Current students enrolled in a post secondary academic institution outside the U.S.

  • Recent graduates within 12 months of completing their studies.

    Program Duration

  • Up to 12 months

  • Gain practical, hands-on experience in your field of study.

    J-1 Trainee Program

Who It’s For:

  • Professionals with a degree or certificate and at least one year of related work experience.

  • OR Professionals with five years of related work experience.

Program Duration

  • Up to 18 months

Purpose

  • Enhance your skills and grow professionally through advanced training in your field.

    General Requirements

  • Be Committed to cultural exchange and professional growth.

  • Show proof of sufficient financial resources to support yourself after your arrival to the U.S.

  • Over the age of 18 and below 35 years of age.

  • Have a conversational level of English.

  • Your Internship/Traineeship must be in a field directly related to your field of studies.

  • Flexible attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Committed to fulfilling job duties for duration of program.

  • Be able to prove that you will return home at the end of the program by showing ties to your home country.

    Program Objectives

  • Introduce international professionals to American culture and business practices by living and working with other Americans;

  • Provide professionals the opportunity to develop their skills with hands-on application in their occupational field.

How much are the Program Fees?

  • Program Duration 4-6 months: $2499

  • Program Duration 6-12 months: $3299

How long does the process take?

  • Most placements take 6-8 weeks but varies depending on a lot of external factors such as embassy scheduling timelines etc. 

What does the Program Fees cover??

  • Visa sponsorship support (DS-2019, DS-7002, embassy interview prep).

  • Health insurance for the entire program.

  • Guaranteed placement with vetted U.S. host employers.

  • One-on-one support before, during, and after your program.

  • Emergency assistance while in the U.S & Site Visit to Host organization (if required)

What’s not included:

  • Visa application fees ($160) and SEVIS ($220) fees
